Instructions

1. Par-boil the Potatoes (Highly Recommended)

Place the sliced potatoes in a pot of boiling salted water and cook for 5 minutes.
Drain immediately and let them cool for about 10 minutes, until easy to handle.


2. Prepare the Steak

Cut the steak into pieces depending on your preferred doneness:

  • 2.5–3 inches for well done
  • 3–4 inches for medium
  • About 5 inches for rare

3. Combine Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine:

  • Steak
  • Potatoes
  • Onion
