Preparation
- Pour 1/2 cup warm water into a disposable cup. Add 1 tablespoon borax and stir until fully dissolved.
- In the second cup, combine 2 tablespoons white school glue and 1 tablespoon cornstarch. Add glow-in-the-dark paint or powder to your liking. Optionally, add a drop or two of food coloring for colorful swirls.
- Use a popsicle stick or spoon to gently stir. Stop before it’s fully blended to keep those pretty swirls!
- Pour the swirl mixture into the borax solution. Let it sit for 10–15 seconds to firm up.
- With clean hands (or gloves), scoop out the thickened mixture and roll it between your palms until it’s nice and round.
- Let your ball dry for a few minutes, then place it under a bright light to charge the glow-in-the-dark magic.
- Give it a good bounce test in a safe spot—hello, glow party!
