Ingredients
Method
Cooking the Pasta
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rigatoni according to package instructions until al dente.
- Drain and set aside, reserving ½ cup of pasta water for later.
Cooking the Ground Beef
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
Adding Garlic & Cream
- Stir in minced garlic and sauté for another 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Let it thicken for 2-3 minutes.
Adding Cheese
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and mozzarella, allowing them to melt into the sauce.
- Season with salt, pepper, and crushed red pepper flakes (if using).
Combining Everything
- Add the cooked rigatoni to the skillet and toss until evenly coated in the creamy, cheesy sauce.
- If the sauce is too thick, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it up.
Serving & Garnishing
- Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes
Use freshly grated cheese for better melting. Don't overcook the pasta to ensure it absorbs the sauce well. For a richer flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the sauce.
