

Chicken Broccoli Casserole
A creamy and cheesy chicken broccoli casserole that's perfect for meal prep and family dinners.

Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and set aside.
- In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until bright green. Drain immediately and set aside.
- If not using pre-cooked chicken, cook it in a skillet over medium heat until no longer pink. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and shred or dice as needed.
Mixing and Assembling
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, blanched broccoli, cooked rice, cream of chicken soup, shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, garlic powder, onion powder, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Stir until all ingredients are well-coated.
- Transfer the mixture to the greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top of the casserole for a crunchy finish.
Baking
- Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the dish is hot and bubbly and the breadcrumbs are golden brown.
- Let the casserole cool for 5 minutes after removing it from the oven. Serve warm.
