Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter room temperature
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon rose water
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup dried edible rose petals crushed

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and sea salt. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar together until fluffy (about 3 minutes).
  • Add the egg, vanilla extract, and rose water, and beat until well combined.
  • Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  • Gently fold in the chocolate chips and dried rose petals.
  • Drop rounded balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, leaving about 2 inches between each.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

You can substitute dark chocolate chips for the semi-sweet ones for a richer flavor.
For a nutty twist, consider adding pistachios or walnuts.
Use dried edible rose petals to maintain flavor consistency and safety.
Adjust baking time to achieve the desired texture—shorter baking times for chewy cookies.
