Method
 

  1. Prepare the Dough
  2. Dissolve yeast in warm water and let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Add sugar, salt, olive oil, and half the flour. Mix well.
  4. Gradually incorporate the remaining flour, kneading until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover with a damp cloth and let rise for 1 hour in a warm spot.
  6. Shape the Dough
  7. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C).
  8. Divide the dough into tennis-ball-sized portions.
  9. Roll each portion into a round shape.
  10. Pinch the bottom of the circle to form a point, then press the top center inward to create a heart shape.
  11. Add Toppings
  12. Spread pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
  13. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously.
  14. Arrange toppings like pepperoni, veggies, or herbs as desired.
  15. Bake
  16. Place pizzas on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  17. Bake for 8-10 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
