Instructions

  • Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Prepare Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Combine Wet and Dry: Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture. Stir gently until just combined. Do not overmix to keep the bread tender.
  • Pour and Sprinkle: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan. Mix the topping ingredients in a small bowl and sprinkle evenly over the batter.
