  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions (optional for garnish)

Tools You’ll Need

  • Mixing bowl for combining ingredients
  • 9x13-inch baking dish for baking the dip
  • Wooden spoon for stirring
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Instructions

1. Preheat Your Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure it’s hot and ready when you’re done assembling the dip.

2. Mix the Dip Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, taco seasoning, and salsa. Stir well until the mixture is smooth and all ingredients are fully incorporated.

3. Spread in Baking Dish

Spread the mixture evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish, smoothing it out with a spoon or spatula to create an even layer.

4. Add Cheese Toppings

Sprinkle the shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese evenly over the top of the dip.

5. Bake

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and the cheese is melted to golden perfection.

6. Garnish and Serve

Optional: Garnish with chopped green onions before serving for a pop of color and a touch of freshness. Serve hot with tortilla chips for dipping!
